Here’s another sneak peek at what’s to come. I took the above picture out east on my birthday and I have to say, there’s nothing like being by the beach on a really hot day. I loved hearing the waves crashing into the earth under my feet, the water lapping at the rocks and sand.
H stood next to me helping me balance on the aforementioned rocks as I twisted, crouched and bent my body in various ways to take “the perfect shot”. Not really sure if I achieved what I was aiming for and for once I don’t really care.
-do you guys subscribe to buzzfeed? i only began receiving emails 2 weeks ago, but I am obsessed. this gem about office life was in my inbox this morning and I laughed so hard at work that my office mates didn’t know what to do with me. ha.
-was reading feedly this morning and came upon this post. so of course I had to check it out. if it has anything to do with music. I am SO there.
-so it’s probably really unfair that I make this confession as a side note but well, recently I was diagnosed with diabetes and the medication that my doc prescribed me says I can’t be out in the sun for very long. remember that heat wave last week? I was miserable. In any case, I am now into carrying umbrellas in the sun. So yes New Yorkers, if you see me in the future, I am that short & chubby asian lady with a parasol walking very slowly on the sidewalk. Just move around me, please. Speaking of parasols, I thought it was really fitting when I came upon this post on feedly as well.
-throwback thursday. This was me. Back in the early 80′s. I had to be between the ages of 2-5. All I have to say is damn. My brothers and I look alike. ha.
-it is a beautiful, beautiful, bee-yoo-tee-full day today. I woke up and started to get ready for my day. As I was passing by an open window I couldn’t help but shiver as the cold air caressed my skin. I immediately reached for my phone and checked the accuweather app. My heart leapt with joy when I saw that it was 63 degrees outside. It felt like autumn! It smelled like it too! Ok, ok I may be being a little dramatic with that second statement. but well I just can’t help it. Autumn, by far, is my most favorite season EVER. I am impatiently waiting for it to get here. You already know.
